Onyx Assessing has worked within the building and civil engineering industry for 7 years (NQF6) before starting Loss Adjusting in 2011. As assessors, we attended to a wide range of domestic and body corporate building claims, such as, but not limited to, general theft, burglary, water damage and flood, fire, burst geyser, subsidence, cracking and the like. Later we assisted in various Contractors All Risk and Plant and Machinery claims, which we have now been attending to for numerous years. In all, we have over 12 years’ experience in a variety of claims. We furthered our insurance studies through INSETA (Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority) reaching NQF L4 for FETC – Short Term Insurance IA. We are also members of The Institute of Loss Adjusters of Southern Africa (ILASA).
